Balcombe House

This beautifully renovated cottage is situated in the rural village of Baltonsborough, just outside the quirky and historic town of Glastonbury. This truly is your typical English country cottage which has been decorated and furnished throughout to a high standard. There is a great enclosed garden with some wonderful views across the Mendip Hills, with even a perfect view of Glastonbury Tor from one of the rooms upstairs. During the hot summer season, a gardener may attend to water and tend to the flowers/vegetable patch to ensure it’s all watered and healthy.
The cottage is a great base for families or groups wanting to explore this part of the country, with Glastonbury on the doorstep, Wells, with its famous catherdral and Bishops Palace Gardens closeby. The World Heritage city of Bath and the great sights and attractions of Bristol are all within an hours drive. Also, Cheddar Gorge with its famous gorge and caves and Wookey Hole are also within easy reach. You can even reach the seaside resorts of Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare in approximately an hours’ drive. Golf is also available locally. Shop and restaurant 3 miles, pub 1 mile.
