Leyfield Coach House is in Kirkby Lonsdale, right on the A65 between Kendal and Skipton. It's a detached house, built into a hill. Because of that, you go in on the top floor.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so each bedroom has its own. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living space is on that top floor where you come in. It's open plan, with big windows. The view over the town and the fields is the main feature, really. There are French doors out to a big balcony with a barbecue. There's a wood burner for cooler nights and a TV.
Downstairs, the main bedroom has doors out to a patio. The stairs between floors are fine, they're just normal house stairs.
Kirkby Lonsdale town centre is about a five-minute walk. There's a mix of shops, cafes, and pubs. There's a supermarket less than half a mile away. Devil's Bridge and Ruskin's View are a couple of minutes' walk from the house.
You're right between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Kendal is about 13 miles one way, and the Dales start practically on the doorstep. For walks, you can follow the River Lune from town. For something bigger, the Yorkshire Three Peaks area is within a 30-minute drive.
Further into the Lakes, Bowness-on-Windermere is about 22 miles. Grizedale Forest, which is good for cycling and walking, is around 30 miles.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included, and there's a cot if you need it. No pets.
