Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is in Lathones. It's a countryside cottage just outside St Andrews, about a five minute drive from the town. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom, and it's rated 5 Star.
The main room is open plan. Living area, kitchen, table. There's a bedroom leading off it and a bathroom. The beams are original.
The garden is private and enclosed. It looks out over the fields. There's a wood-fired hot tub and a chimenea with some seating.
You're in a good spot here. St Andrews is five miles away for the golf, the university, the beaches and everything else. The East Neuk fishing villages like Crail and Elie are along the coast, maybe twenty minutes drive. Good for walks and seafood.
Just down the road, half a mile, there's Stewarts Resort. They've got a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop and some other facilities. Cameron Reservoir is close by if you fancy fishing.
If you want to explore further, Falkland Palace is about half an hour south. Tentsmuir Forest and beach are about twenty minutes north. For walks and cycling, the Tentsmuir National Nature Reserve is good.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, TV, and towels and bedding are included. The hot tub is wood-fired, so you'll need to manage that. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
