The Barn
The Barn is on our farm in Newsholme, near Oakworth. It's a converted barn from around 1800. It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each has its own bathroom or shower room, which is useful for a group.
The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well-finished. The main window in the living room is a big barn arch, so you get a good view down the valley. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is a decent size if you're cooking. The stairs to the bedrooms are original and quite steep, just so you know.
You've got a private garden and patio with a barbecue. There's parking right outside, and an electric vehicle charger. Bicycles can be stored in the outbuilding.
Oakworth village has a shop, a pub, and a tearoom, all about a mile and a half away. Haworth is close, for the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the steam railway. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts a short drive north. Skipton, with the castle and market, is about 20 minutes away. Hebden Bridge is roughly half an hour.
We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
