Wellhead Cottage

Wellhead Cottage is in the middle of Haworth, near the top of the main street. It's an old weaver's cottage, so it's tall and thin, built into the hill. You can walk to everything in the village.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is on the ground floor, the other's on the first floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are steep, because it's an old house. There's a stairgate at the bottom.

You get the whole tiered garden to yourselves. There's a patio at the top with a table, then steps down to a lawn. The hot tub is on the patio. It's private, but you can see other houses, so it's not totally secluded.

Inside, there are two living rooms, each with a wood burner. One's more of a sitting room, the other has the dining table. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's on-site parking for one car, right outside.

For the village, the Brontë Parsonage Museum is the main thing. The church and the moors are right there. The steam railway station is a five minute walk. The local pubs do food.

For walking, you can step straight onto the moors from the back of the village. Yorkshire Dales National Park is about a 20 minute drive. Skipton with its castle and market is about half an hour away.
