Holme House Cottage is in Goose Eye, near Oakworth. It's about two miles from Haworth. It's a detached cottage, stone built, from the 1600s. It's got a thatched roof.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one double and one single, and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept. It's small, so the stairs are steep and narrow. That's just how it is.
The garden at the back is mature and has a patio. It overlooks fields and a brook. There's a farm next door with horses.
There's a pub in the village. It's a short walk away and has its own brewery. You can walk from the cottage across the fields to it, or through the woods.
For a bigger day out, Haworth is close. That's the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the steam railway. Skipton is about a twenty minute drive. It's got the castle and is a gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Harrogate is around thirty minutes away if you want shops or the RHS garden at Harlow Carr.
On the facilities, you've got a wood burner in the sitting room, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
There's a three acre field behind the cottage for dog walking, but you have to arrange that with me first. Same with the indoor riding arena if the weather is terrible.
