21 Sykes Head Cottage

21 Sykes Head Cottage is on the edge of Oakworth. It's one of three cottages in a row. Yours is the end one.

The cottage sleeps four. It's two double bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a bit steep, like most cottages.

You have your own garden at the front. There's a patio area and you can see fields from there. You also get your own parking space right outside.

Inside, there's a kitchen with a dining table. The living room has a wood burning stove and a TV. There's WiFi. All the bedding and towels are provided.

Oakworth itself is small. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. The Brontë Country scenery around here is very good for walks. You can walk up onto the moors from the door.

Within about half an hour you can drive to Haworth for the Brontë Parsonage. Keighley is closer for bigger shops. The Worth Valley Railway runs through Haworth and Oxenhope, which is a nice trip if you like steam trains.

For a day out, you can get to Skipton or into the Yorkshire Dales within the half hour. National Trust Yorkshire has details for places like East Riddlesden Hall nearby.

No pets, I'm afraid. The other two cottages can be rented together with this one if you're a bigger group.
