The Oast
The Oast is just outside Lenham village. It’s a converted oast house, so it's round. You can see it from the road.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, so two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet. Inside, it's open plan downstairs.
Lenham village has a shop and a couple of pubs, all about a mile's walk. The pubs do food. It's a nice walk across the fields.
Leeds Castle is about ten minutes by car. It's worth a visit. The Kent Downs are right here for walking. You can get good maps from their site.
Maidstone is a fifteen-minute drive for bigger shops. The coast, like Whitstable, is about forty minutes if you fancy fish and chips by the sea.
Facilities: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Parking for two cars on the gravel. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a cot and a highchair in the cupboard under the stairs.
