Moorhen Cottage is on the edge of Hollingbourne, in Kent. It's a detached cottage on a private estate. You get your own garden which looks out over one of the lakes.
It sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well kept.
The stairs are a typical cottage shape, so they turn and are a bit steep. One of the bathrooms is on the ground floor and the entrance is level, which helps if mobility is an issue.
There's a pub that serves food about a five minute walk away. The village shop is a bit further, maybe a fifteen minute walk. You can get basics there.
The cottage has its own patio with a barbecue, facing the lake. The estate grounds are shared and you're free to walk around them. There's a shared heated outdoor swimming pool that's open in the summer months, and a games room with a pool table and table tennis.
It's a good spot for getting out. Leeds Castle is very close, about a ten minute drive. For the coast, Whitstable is roughly 35 minutes away by car. Canterbury is about 20 minutes in the other direction.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi included. Bedding and towels are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There is parking right outside.
