Quarry Lodge
Quarry Lodge is up near Boughton Monchelsea, about ten minutes south of Maidstone. It's a bungalow. We did it up a couple of years ago.
It's in our own garden, so you'll see us pottering about sometimes, but you've got your own patio and the parking is right outside.
The place sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything's on one level. We were aiming for the 4 Star rating, so it's got decent appliances and it's kept clean. It's warm and quiet.
The garden looks out over fields. There's a table and chairs out the front, and a barbecue.
You've got a shop and a couple of pubs in the village, a few minutes' drive. Both serve food. Leeds Castle is about ten minutes away. Maidstone town centre is ten minutes the other way for bigger shops.
For a day out, you can get to the coast at Whitstable in under an hour. Canterbury is about forty minutes. There are a lot of good walks from here directly into the countryside.
Inside, there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
