Star's Special Sanctuary Devil's Den

It's called Star's Special Sanctuary, but we just call it The Lodge. It’s in Devil’s Den, near Maidstone in Kent.

It's a single lodge that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The shower is en suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything is on one level and the doors are wide, so it's suitable for a wheelchair. There's parking right by the door.

The lodge is on our land, about 13 acres in total. Guests have access to about an acre of it, including a shared lake area with a summer house. It's very quiet here. You can bring one dog.

Inside, there's a king-size bed, a small kitchen with a dishwasher, and a living area with a sofa bed and a desk if you need to work. There's WiFi and a smart TV. Outside the door there's a patio with a barbecue.

The nearest pub and restaurant is about a mile away in the village. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, you'd go into Maidstone. That's about eight miles.

If you want to get out, you're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's good for walking and cycling straight from the lodge. Local places to visit include Leeds Castle, which is close by, and Mote Park in Maidstone. The National Trust has several properties within a 30 minute drive, like Ightham Mote. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

There are three other similar lodges next to it. You can book them together if you're a larger group.
