Harvest View, Tilmangate Farm

Harvest View is a converted barn on Tilmangate Farm, near Fairbourne Heath. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and clean.

The main room is open plan, with the kitchen and living area together. French doors open right out onto a covered patio and your own enclosed garden. It's a good space if you've got kids who want to run around outside. The garden looks out over fields, and there are usually horses in the paddock next door.

There's another barn conversion right next door, called The Stable. They're side by side. A set of soundproof connecting doors in the living room wall must stay closed, obviously. You've got your own patio and garden area, so it's private.

In terms of stuff, it has what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.

The local pub is about a mile away, in the village. It's a proper local, does decent food. You'll need a car for anything else.

You're right in the middle of Kent here, so it's a good base. Canterbury is about half an hour's drive, and so is the coast at Whitstable. If you want a big day out, you can get to Dover or even Leeds Castle within that sort of time.
