Harvest View, Tilmangate Farm
Harvest View is a converted barn on our farm, Tilmangate. It's in Fairbourne Heath, out in the Kent countryside. You get those views out over the paddocks where the horses are. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and modern, with underfloor heating. The kitchen is open plan with French doors that open right out onto a covered patio.
There's another barn conversion right next to it, Maple View. They're side by side. There's a soundproof door between them that has to stay closed. You'll have your own patio and garden area, so you're not sharing space.
The local pub is about a mile away. It's properly local, does decent food. For shopping or a wider choice of places to eat, you'd drive into Faversham, which is about ten minutes.
You're well placed for getting around Kent by car. Whitstable and the coast is roughly half an hour. Canterbury is about twenty-five minutes. If you want a bigger day out, you can be in Rochester or the Channel Tunnel terminal at Folkestone in under an hour.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
