Stables
The Stables is in Bearsted, just outside Maidstone. It's a converted stable block, so it's a single-storey building. That means everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. We allow up to two dogs.
You're in our three and a half acre grounds, and you have access to another fifteen acres of the Bearsted Woodland Trust land. It's quiet and you'll see plenty of wildlife. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about half a mile away in the village. They're both decent. Maidstone is three miles for anything else you need.
For things to do, Leeds Castle is very close. It's about a ten minute drive. In Maidstone, Mote Park is good for a walk or a run, it's a big park. The Kent Life museum is nearby if you like that sort of thing. You can get the train to London from Bearsted or Maidstone if you fancy a day trip.
The place has underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi. Parking is right outside.
