Church View is in Bearsted, Kent. It's one of two converted barns on our land. The area is classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which sounds grand, but it's just nice countryside.
The barn sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well finished. Everything is on the ground floor, and the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair.
You're welcome to walk in our three and a half acres. There's also access to another fifteen acres of woodland run by the Bearsted Woodland Trust. It's quiet.
The village centre with a shop and a couple of pubs is about a ten minute walk. Maidstone is three miles away for bigger shops.
Leeds Castle is nearby, about a fifteen minute drive. It's good for a visit. National Trust places like Sissinghurst Castle Garden or Smallhythe Place are within half an hour. The coast at Whitstable or Herne Bay is about forty minutes by car.
For facilities: there's a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. On-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're coming by train, Bearsted station has services to London. It's about a mile from the barn.
