Kingfisher Oast is in Hollingbourne. It's a converted oast house on a country estate. It's detached.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's good if you're with friends or family who want a bit of privacy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, dining area, sitting area. It's a good space for everyone to be together.
Upstairs, one of the bedrooms has old markings on the wall from when it was used for hop picking. Dates from the 1700s. They're just there, on the plaster. It's a bit of history.
Outside, there's a garden with furniture and a charcoal BBQ. The swimming pool is shared with a couple of other cottages on the estate. It's heated and open in summer. There's also a shared games room with table tennis and a pool table.
The village has a pub. Leeds Castle is about ten minutes away by car. For a day out, you've got places like Sissinghurst Castle Garden or the coast at Whitstable within half an hour or so. Canterbury is about twenty minutes drive.
Facilities: it's all on one level once you're inside, so it's suitable for wheelchair access. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. You can bring up to two dogs.
