Home Farm is in Sandway, just outside Lenham. It's a big farmhouse, so it's good for a family group or a few friends. You've got neighbours in other buildings nearby, but it's quiet.
It sleeps nine. Five bedrooms, two bathrooms. Two of the beds are four posters. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Downstairs, there's a main sitting room with a wood burner and a dining room. There's also a music room with a piano. The kitchen has what you need. The main thing is downstairs again, on the lower ground floor. That's where the cinema room is, with a big screen and projector. There's a games room down there too, with a pool table and darts.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or a dog. You're allowed two pets. There's parking on site.
For walks, you're right by the Pilgrims Way and the Greensand Way. There's also about 50 acres of heathland across the road you can wander on. The owners can sometimes arrange mountain bike hire if you ask in advance.
Lenham village is close. It's got a few shops and pubs. For a bigger town, Maidstone is about 20 minutes by car. Canterbury is about half an hour away. Ashford is about 20 minutes.
In terms of facilities, it's all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included.
If you're planning trips, the Visit Kent site is useful. For historical sites, English Heritage and the National Trust have lots nearby.
