Hay Fields, Tilmangate Farm
Hay Fields is on our farm on Fairbourne Heath. It's a cottage, one of a pair next to each other. You get the garden and patio to yourselves, facing the fields.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and practical rather than luxurious. There's underfloor heating.
The farm is arable, with some horses in the nearby paddocks. It's quiet, but you will hear farm noises sometimes. The connecting door to the other cottage is soundproof, but it has to stay shut to work.
The garden is enclosed. There's parking right outside, including an electric vehicle charger.
It's a good spot if you want to get out and about. For walking, there are public footpaths across the fields and woods nearby. You're about 30 minutes from the coast around Whitstable and Herne Bay. Canterbury is about 20 minutes by car.
We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
