Diesel's Desirable Den
Diesel's Desirable Den is on our land, near Devil's Den in Kent. It's one of four lodges here. You share about five acres of grounds with the other guests. There's a lake, a summer house, and a six-seater Pod that everyone can use.
The lodge sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a kingsize bed, the other can be either twins or a super kingsize. We've put one pet on the booking form, so one dog is fine.
The living area has a sofa bed as well, if you need it. There's a TV. Outside, there's a shared courtyard with a water feature and some seating.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. The entrance and main rooms are on one level, which is helpful.
There's a pub about a mile away. Maidstone is eight miles from here. That's where you'll find supermarkets, the leisure centre with pools, and Fremlin Walk for shopping. The train from Bearsted or Maidstone goes to London.
Leeds Castle is very close. It’s a proper castle with grounds. National Trust South Downs & Kent has a few properties within half an hour or so, like Scotney Castle. For walks, the North Downs are right here. The North Downs Way National Trail site has route information.
Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, parking right by the lodge, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
