The place is called Diesel's Desirable Den. It's in Devil's Den, Kent. It's on the owners' land, about 13 acres. You share that with a few other lodges.
It's a lodge, not a cottage. Sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a kingsize bed. The other has two singles that you can zip together into a big double if you want. There's a sofa bed in the living area too, if you need it.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. Everything's on one level, which is handy. There's parking right outside.
Outside, there's a shared courtyard with seating. You also get shared use of a one-acre lake area. There's a summer house there with some sun loungers.
Location wise, it's rural. The pub is about a mile away. Maidstone is eight miles. You can get the train to London from there or from Bearsted.
If you're looking for things to do, Leeds Castle is very close. Leeds Castle is worth a visit. Mote Park in Maidstone is a big park with a lake. For walks, you're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the paths are good. The National Trust has a few places like Sissinghurst Castle Garden within half an hour or so.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. TV, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can book it with a few other similar lodges on the same site if you're a bigger group.
