The Barnyard
The Barnyard is in Five Wents, near Sutton Valence. It's a detached place we built ourselves, so it's a bit different to a normal cottage. It's all on one level, which is good for access, and it's got underfloor heating.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so no queues. There's a big open space for living, cooking, and eating. The main wall is glass, so you get a full view of the garden and the fields. It's very light. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings.
The garden is yours to use. There's a patio with a barbecue, and parking for a couple of cars.
You're down a quiet lane. The nearest pub is about two minutes' walk. There's another one about fifteen minutes away. For shops, Bearsted or Headcorn are a ten minute drive. They both have a few places to eat and train stations. The train to London takes just over an hour.
If you're driving out, Leeds Castle is about ten minutes away. The Kent Downs are on the doorstep for walking. The coast at Folkestone or Whitstable is about forty minutes.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
