The Barnyard
The Barnyard is in Sutton Valence, just outside Maidstone. It's a single building we built ourselves a few years back. It's detached, with its own driveway and a garden that looks out over fields.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and each has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's well equipped and finished to a good standard. The main living space is all one big room with a high ceiling and a lot of windows. The floors are concrete with underfloor heating, so it's solid and easy to clean. There's a wood burner.
The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The property has level access and is suitable for wheelchair users.
There's a pub about two minutes' walk down the lane. Another one is a fifteen minute walk. Both serve food.
For walks, you can just head out from the door into the countryside. Leeds Castle is about ten minutes away by car. Bearsted and Headcorn villages are nearby for shops and cafes, and they have train stations if you wanted a day trip to London.
You can bring up to three dogs. There's a BBQ in the garden.
