The Granary is on Ram Lane in Kent. It's a two-storey cottage on the grounds of the main house. You can't see it from the main road, it's down a track. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have a dog or small children.
It sleeps three. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is a wet room, it's all wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well-equipped. The stairs are quite steep, like in a lot of these old farm buildings.
There's a pub about a hundred metres up the lane. They do food. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Ashford or Faversham.
Leeds Castle is probably the closest big attraction, about a 15-minute drive. It's good for a day out. Leeds Castle.
The Kent Downs are right there for walking. The coast is about 25 minutes away. Hythe has a shingle beach and the military canal path. Tenterden is nice for a wander and has the steam railway. Faversham is an old market town, about 20 minutes by car.
London is about an hour and a quarter on the train from Charing station, which is five minutes away by car.
Facilities: all the utilities are included. There's Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a cot, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are provided. It's all on one level inside, except for the stairs to the upstairs bedroom.
