Foxton Lodge is a detached house near the village of Harrietsham, in Kent. It’s not in the village itself, it’s just outside on the road, so you have a fair bit of space around you. It looks out over fields.
The house sleeps six in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms, one of which is a ground floor wet room. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well-finished and has more features than standard. The wooden floors downstairs can be a bit echoey.
Facilities are good. There’s a wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a washing machine. The games room has a table tennis table. There’s on site parking for a couple of cars. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included, and we provide a cot and highchair.
Harrietsham has a shop and a railway station with services to London. There are local pubs for food. Leeds Castle is about a ten minute drive from the house and well worth a visit.
You’re in a good spot for exploring. Maidstone town centre is about fifteen minutes by car. The Kent coast, like Whitstable or Herne Bay, is under half an hour’s drive. For a longer day out, you can be in central London on the train in about an hour.
