Ashtree Farmhouse

Ashtree Farmhouse is in Meadowfield, County Durham. It's a detached cottage, sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well done up.

The stairs are fine. There's an open plan living area downstairs with a wood burner. The kitchen's modern, it has a dishwasher. There's a games room with a pool table and two extra sofa beds, so you could fit more if you really needed to.

You can bring two dogs, and maybe more if you ask first. There's a deck outside with a BBQ and a firepit. The garden is shared and has a climbing frame for kids.

Durham city is about a fifteen minute drive. The cathedral and castle are a World Heritage site. Good for a wander. The North Pennines are close by for walking. High Force waterfall and Hamsterley Forest are worth the trip.

Beamish Museum is about twenty minutes away. It's an open air museum, good for a family day out. There's a golf course locally. Fishing nearby too.

Facilities wise: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a cot and highchair. Bedding and towels are included.
