The Loft
The Loft is on the first floor of a house in Brandon. It's for two people only. One bedroom with the bathroom ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main room has a high ceiling and a big window, so it's bright. There's a sofa, TV, and a small kitchen area with a coffee machine. The bedroom is through an archway. It's got a king size bed and a skylight. The stairs up to it are a typical cottage staircase, so watch your step.
Outside, there's a private courtyard with a table and chairs. It's a quiet spot.
The village pub is two minutes walk away. They do food. For walks, you can go straight from the door, or Durham city centre is a ten minute drive. The river walks there are nice, and the cathedral and castle are the main sights. They're a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Beamish Museum, which is a good day out, and the Angel of the North. The Durham cricket ground is about 20 minutes away if there's a match on. The North East coast is under 20 miles to the east.
It has parking. There's WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are provided. No pets.
