Quartermasters
Quartermasters is an apartment inside Brancepeth Castle. It's on the ground floor. It's sunny because it faces south and looks out over the fields.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Because it's in a castle, the walls are thick stone and the windows are deep. It feels solid.
You're right in the village. The local golf club is a short walk away. There's a little tea shop on the castle grounds. For a proper shop or a pub meal, you need to go about two miles to the nearby town.
Durham is very close, about five miles. You can be at the cathedral and castle in 15 minutes. It's useful if you're visiting someone at the university. Bishop Auckland is about eight miles away, that's where the Kynren show is in the summer.
For a day out, Beamish Museum is roughly half an hour's drive. Newcastle and the Metrocentre are within 40 minutes. The coast, like Seaham or Durham Heritage Coast, is about a 30 minute drive for a beach walk.
In the apartment, there's a TV with Netflix, WiFi, and parking right outside. All the bedding and towels are included. There's no garden that's just yours, but you have the castle grounds to look at.
