Quartermasters is a ground floor apartment in Brancepeth Castle. It's on one level, sleeps three, and has two bathrooms. It gets the sun.
The place is part of the castle's old kitchens, from when the army used it. You can see the old stove outside the door. The walls inside are stone in places.
It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The kitchen has what you need for basics, and there's a TV with Netflix and NowTV. There's a handbook with local information.
The castle grounds are nice for a walk. The village shop and pub are about two miles away in Brancepeth itself. There's a small tea room on the castle site. The golf club is a short walk.
Durham is just over five miles away. You can be at the cathedral and castle in about fifteen minutes. It's useful for university events.
Within half an hour you can get to Beamish Museum, or into Newcastle or Gateshead. Bishop Auckland, for the Kynren show, is about eight miles.
There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
