Nook Cottage is in Durham. It's a small one-bedroom place, set all on one floor. Sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is modern inside.
You come in through the back door into the kitchen. It's new, with a washer-dryer and a breakfast bar. The bathroom has a shower. The living room is at the front with a TV and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. The bedroom is a double.
Outside there's a private, walled garden. It gets the sun in the evening. There's a seating area out there.
It's about two miles from Durham city centre. You can drive or get the bus. There's a local pub about a mile away. Durham itself has everything: the cathedral and castle, which are a World Heritage Site, restaurants, and shops. The river walks are nice.
If you want to go further out, you're well placed. Newcastle is about half an hour by car or train. The Beamish Museum is about a 20 minute drive. The Northumberland coast, like Seahouses, is maybe an hour away.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, the TV has Sky and Netflix, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
