Harrison House
Harrison House is in Low Pittington. It’s a village, it’s quiet. You’ve got the A1 and A19 a few minutes away if you need to get going somewhere. We did it up in 2022.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bedroom is up in the loft. It’s got a low ceiling and a Velux window. It’s cosy. It has its own shower room.
The garden is enclosed. There’s a patio with a table and chairs. The kitchen has what you need. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher.
You can walk to a farm shop from the house. They do meat, coffee, that sort of thing. If you walk the other way, across the golf links, you get to Ramside Hall. They have golf and a spa.
Durham is about ten minutes in the car. The cathedral and castle are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are plenty of places to eat and drink there. They have a theatre, festivals. It’s a proper city.
Within about half an hour’s drive you’ve got a few things. The Beamish Museum is good for a day out. The Angel of the North is that way. Newcastle and the Metro Centre are about thirty minutes. The coast is eight miles east, so places like Roker and Seaburn are quick to get to.
You can bring up to two dogs. There’s parking for one car on the drive. Wi-Fi works. Bedding and towels are included.
