Harrison House

Harrison House is in Low Pittington. It's a village just off the A1, so it's easy to get to but feels quiet. The house was done up in 2022.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with mornings. Two bedrooms are on the first floor with the family bathroom. The third is a loft room at the top of the house. It has its own shower room. The ceilings are sloped up there, so mind your head if you're tall. It's a nice, separate space.

Downstairs, there's a living room and a separate kitchen with a dining table. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have dogs or kids. There's a lawn and a patio with a table.

You can walk into the countryside from the door. There's a farm shop about five minutes away that does coffee and good meat. Ramside Hall golf course is a walk across the fields, if that's your thing.

Durham is about ten minutes by car. The cathedral and castle are the obvious draw. The city has decent restaurants and a theatre. It gets busy during the university term and for events like the Lumiere festival.

You can get to a lot from here in half an hour. Beamish Museum is a good day out. The coast at Seaham or Sunderland is about twenty minutes drive. Newcastle is half an hour up the A1 for shopping or a night out.

For facilities, it has the standard stuff: WiFi, a Smart TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
