Bramble Cottage is near Peterlee, in County Durham. It's a bungalow, all on one level, which makes it pretty straightforward. The place sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well kept.
You've got a fenced patio out the back, so it's safe if you've got kids or a dog. The view from there is over fields. It's quiet.
The stairs are steep. Just kidding, there aren't any. Being all on the ground floor is one of the main things about it.
There's a pub about a mile away that does food. The shop is two miles. The coast is close, about a 15 minute drive to places like Seaham beach. The Durham Heritage Coast website has good info for walking routes.

If you want to go further afield, Beamish Museum is about half an hour's drive and makes a good day out. Newcastle is about 45 minutes by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The shower is a walk-in type. No pets, sorry.
It's one of three cottages here, so you can book them together if you've got a bigger group.
