The Manse
The Manse is in Coxhoe, just off the A1. It's a big semi-detached house that sleeps ten people. The main bit of the house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well done up and has good facilities.
The garden is walled and gated, which is useful if you've got kids or dogs. There's a hot tub and a barrel sauna out there under some trees. Inside, there's a wood burner stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The wifi is included. Bedding and towels are too.
We allow up to four pets. There's on-site parking and bike storage if you need it.
It's about an eight minute drive into Durham city centre from here. The cathedral and castle are a UNESCO World Heritage site. There's the Gala Theatre, and the river for things like canoeing. The city has good restaurants and cafes.
If you fancy a drive, the Angel of the North is about 20 minutes away. Newcastle and the Metro Centre are roughly half an hour. Beamish Museum is a 30 minute drive and makes a full day out. The Durham cricket ground is 20 minutes away for matches. The coast is under 20 miles.
