Brewery House Cottage
Brewery House Cottage is in Bishop Middleham. It's a semi-detached cottage, sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.
It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well finished. There are dressing gowns and toiletries here, things like that. It feels comfortable.
The stairs are cottage stairs, so they are a bit steep. We've put a stairgate at the top for little ones. There's a wood burning stove, which is nice in the colder months. You get one basket of logs. Parking is on site.
You're right in the village. There are two pubs about a minute's walk away. One does food. There's a small village shop about a five minute walk for basics.
The city of Durham is about eight miles away. That's a 20 minute drive, maybe 25. You've got the cathedral and the castle there. There's a lot going on, markets and events. Useful links for planning: Durham Cathedral and Durham Castle.
Within half an hour you can get to Auckland Castle in Bishop Auckland. Or Head to the coast at Seaham, which is about 25 minutes by car. For a longer walk, you're not far from the Durham Dales.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a bike store if you need it.
