The Hideaway is a cottage in Penuwch, which is near Tregaron. It's remote. You're up in the hills.
It's a one-bedroom place for two people. There's a wood burner in the main room. The stairs go up to the bedroom, which has a kingsize bed. The bathroom has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept.
Outside, there's a deck. The view looks out over the fields towards the Cambrian Mountains. There's a two-acre meadow that goes with the property, with a small wildlife pond. You'll see birds.
You're a few miles from Tregaron. That's where you'll find shops and a couple of pubs. The Cors Caron bog is there too, good for a walk. It's a National Nature Reserve.
If you drive for about half an hour, you can get to the coast at Aberaeron. It's a nice little harbour town. New Quay is a bit further, where you can sometimes see dolphins from the pier.
For walks, you're basically in the middle of it. The Visit Wales walking pages have good ideas for the area.
What's here: the wood burner, TV, parking right outside, bedding and towels are provided. The deck has furniture. No pets allowed.
