The Retreat Virginstow

The Retreat is on our farm, near Virginstow. It’s detached. The views are good, you can see the farm’s lake and Dartmoor over the fields.

It’s got a 4 Star rating. It sleeps two in the double bed. There’s a sofa bed as well, so it can take two more if needed, but it’s really best suited for a couple. There’s one bathroom with a shower.

The main room is open plan. The kitchen is along one wall. It has everything you’d need. The table is by the window so you can look out while you eat. It’s well insulated and has heating for the winter.

Outside, there’s a private courtyard with a fire pit and parking for two cars. You can bring one dog.

The farm is arable and dairy, so you’ll see tractors and cattle around. It’s very quiet otherwise.

Launceston is about ten minutes away for shops and things. For the coast, Bude is roughly half an hour. Dartmoor is about twenty minutes. The Eden Project is around forty minutes’ drive. There’s fishing and horse riding locally.

Facilities include a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
