The I-Hut is a modern shepherd's hut on our farm in Virginstow. It's detached, so you're on your own out there. It sleeps four, but that's in one bedroom with a double bed and a double sofa bed in the main space. It's open plan.
The hut has a 4 Star rating. It's got everything you need: a small kitchen, a shower room, TV, and WiFi. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
Outside, you have your own patio with a barbecue and a hot tub. The hot tub looks out over our garden pond and towards Dartmoor. There's a shared play area for children on the farm.
The location is quiet. We're a working dairy and arable farm, so you'll see tractors and cows. It's on the border of Devon and Cornwall.
Launceston is the nearest town, about ten minutes by car. They have shops and a castle. For a day out, Dartmoor is right there for walking. The north coast beaches like Widemouth Bay are about half an hour's drive. The Tamar Otter Park is nearby. Further afield, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are within an hour.
