The Barn
This is The Barn. It's near Ashbourne in Derbyshire. It's a detached barn conversion.
It sleeps up to ten people. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Some are ensuite. You'll need to look at the floor plan for specifics, but there's a mix of double rooms and twins, plus one single. It's got a 5 Star rating, so the finish is good.
Downstairs is mostly open plan. The living area is a few steps down from the kitchen. It has bifold doors out to the garden and a log burner. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need. There's also a utility room with a washer-dryer and a downstairs toilet.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. It's a double with its own shower room and an external door.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a hot tub and outdoor furniture. There's a low wall, so the garden feels open to the fields beyond. You can park up to five cars on the drive. There's an electric vehicle charger and a bike store.
You can bring up to three dogs.
The town of Ashbourne is about a mile away. It's a proper market town with shops and pubs. You can walk to a local pub from here.
For getting out, the Tissington Trail is close by. That's good for walking and cycling. Dovedale and the stepping stones are about a fifteen minute drive. Carsington Water is also nearby for walks or watersports.
