The Hive
The Hive is a pod on our farm in Church Broughton. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a four star rating.
It's a single space really, open plan. There's a kingsize bed at one end, a sofa and TV in the middle, and a small kitchen area at the other. The kitchen has a two-ring hob, a combi microwave, a fridge, and a dishwasher. There's a breakfast bar with stools. Double doors look out over the fields.
Outside, there's a small enclosed patio with a table and chairs, a firepit, and the hot tub.
It's very quiet here. The village is small. Good for walking straight out from the door. If you want to drive, Tutbury Castle is about 20 minutes away. Sudbury Hall is similar. The National Forest is close by for longer walks. Alton Towers is roughly half an hour's drive if that's your sort of thing.
Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a Smart TV. Parking is right next to the pod. No pets, sorry.
We also have two other cottages on site, The Old Farmhouse and The Old Haybarn. You can book all three together if you're a bigger group.
