The Milking Parlour Anslow

The Milking Parlour is in Anslow, Staffordshire. It's a converted farm building, part of a working equestrian centre, so you'll see horses. It's quiet, surrounded by fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. The living room has patio doors out to a private garden.

It's all on one level except for two steps into the property, so it's good for limited mobility. There's parking right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. Horse owners can also bring their horse, but you need to arrange that with the centre directly beforehand.

The location is good for getting to places. St. George's Park, the England football training ground, is about three miles away. Alton Towers is a 20 minute drive. The Sudbury Hall National Trust property is about 15 minutes away.

For a full day out, the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas is about eight miles. It's significant, so allow plenty of time. The Peak District National Park is roughly half an hour's drive to the north if you want proper walking.

Locally, there's Church Farm tea rooms, which has animals for kids. Tutbury Castle ruins are nearby. Lichfield with its cathedral is about 12 miles.

Things are included: bedding, towels, wifi, electricity. The TV is there. It's decorated for Christmas if you book over that period.
