The Peacock Barn Woodlane

The Peacock Barn is in Woodlane, Staffordshire. It's one of three cottages around a courtyard on our farm. The farm isn't working anymore, it's quiet.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on the ground floor, which is handy. The doors are wide enough for a wheelchair too.

The main thing is the shared leisure building. It's right by the cottages. There's an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a games room and a small gym. You book slots for the pool and hot tub when you're here.

Outside, you've got your own enclosed patio garden with a BBQ. There's parking.

You can bring one dog. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.

There's a pub that does food half a mile away. A shop is a mile.

For walks, you can go straight from the door onto footpaths through the local farmland and into the National Forest. There's a nature reserve about three quarters of a mile away.

You're about 20 minutes from Lichfield Cathedral and the Museum of Childhood at Sudbury Hall. Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, and the Peak District are all within a 30 minute drive. Tamworth SnowDome is about 25 minutes.
