Tawny Cottage Hadley End

Tawny Cottage is one of three cottages set around a courtyard on our property at Hadley End. You get your own private garden that looks out over fields.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well fitted-out. You can bring one well-behaved dog.

The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so a bit steeper than in a modern house. We've put a stairgate at the top.

In the cottage there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We also have a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can park right outside.

The nearest shop and pub are about a mile away in Yoxall village. That's also where you can walk along the River Swarbourn.

You're in the middle of the National Forest here, so there are plenty of walks from the door. Cannock Chase is about a 20 minute drive for more walking and cycling.

The Peak District and Dovedale are roughly half an hour north. Alton Towers is about 25 minutes away. For a historical day out, the National Memorial Arboretum is 6 miles away, and Lichfield with its cathedral is a 15 minute drive.
