Groom's Cottage Woodlane

Groom's Cottage is on Woodlane, near Abbots Bromley. It's a quiet spot, part of a farm that isn't working anymore. The cottage is a bungalow, so everything is on one level.

It sleeps two. One bedroom, one wet room shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.

The main thing is the shared leisure building. It has an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a small gym, and a games room. You just walk across the courtyard to use it. It's for the guests from the few cottages here.

Outside, you have your own enclosed garden with a barbecue. There's parking right outside.

There's a pub that does food half a mile down the road. A shop is about a mile away.

For walks, you can go straight out onto footpaths through the farmland here. The National Forest is all around. There's a nature reserve less than a mile away.

By car, you can get to a few places quite easily. Alton Towers is about 20 minutes drive. Drayton Manor is similar. For a proper day out walking, you can be at Dovedale in the Peak District in under half an hour. National Trust Peak District has information.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. There's wifi.
