Brankley Cottage Woodlane

This is Brankley Cottage. It's a terrace cottage on a farm in Staffordshire. The farm isn't a working one anymore, so it's quiet. You get a yard out the front.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. We allow up to three dogs.

The main thing is the shared leisure barn. There's an indoor swimming pool, a hot tub, a small gym, and a games room with a pool table. You book slots for the pool. It's right next to the cottage, so you can just pop over.

There's a pub that does meals half a mile down the lane in Woodlane. The nearest shop is about a mile away in Alrewas.

For walking, you can go straight out from the cottage onto the farm tracks. The National Forest is all around here. There's a nature reserve three quarters of a mile away.

If you drive, you've got a lot of options within half an hour. Alton Towers and Drayton Manor are about twenty minutes. Lichfield Cathedral is fifteen minutes. For a historical day out, you've got Shugborough Estate and Calke Abbey nearby. The edge of the Peak District is about thirty minutes away.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a travel cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
