Swiss Cottage
This is Swiss Cottage in Alrewas. It's one of a pair of old cottages, right in the middle of the village. You get a little patio out the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The ceilings are low in places and there are some old beams, so mind your head. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, a bit steep.
You're about a hundred yards from the canal towpath. It's a nice, flat walk. The village has three pubs that do food, and a few shops. Everything's within a few minutes' walk.
The National Memorial Arboretum is just down the road, maybe half a mile. It's worth a visit. Lichfield is about five miles away if you need a bigger town.
For a day out, Drayton Manor and Twycross Zoo are both about a twenty minute drive. Tamworth Snowdome is the same distance if you fancy that. A bit further, you've got places like Calke Abbey and Shugborough within about half an hour. Alton Towers and the Peak District are under an hour away.
As for the place itself, there's a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. We provide the bedding. You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you need it.
