Park Barn
Park Barn is a converted barn in Whittington, Staffordshire. It's an annex to a main house but you get the whole place, and there's a lot of space. It's on its own, overlooking fields and woodland.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The living area is open plan with big patio doors looking out. The kitchen has one of those big islands you can sit at. The floor downstairs has heating under it, so it's warm underfoot.
The barn is right by a footpath that leads to Fisherwick Lakes. It's good for a walk without having to drive anywhere. There's parking for a couple of cars, and an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Whittington village is about a mile away. It's got a Co-op, a couple of pubs that do food, a chemist, and the usual things. It's a proper village.
If you want to go further, Lichfield is about a 20-minute drive. It's got the cathedral, some good places to eat, and decent shopping. Ashbourne is lovely too, and you're on the edge of the Peak District from there. The National Trust Dovedale Valley is about a 30-minute drive and it's good for a walk.
Cannock Chase is about 25 minutes drive. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, good for walking and mountain biking. Alton Towers is within half an hour if that's your sort of thing.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The bedding and towels are included. There's a BBQ and patio furniture outside. You can bring two dogs. There's a highchair if you need one.
