The Old Carthouse
This is The Old Carthouse in Blithbury. It's a detached barn that we converted. It's for four people, two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The place is very quiet. You're down a track and it looks out over fields. There's an orchard garden that you get to yourselves. There's a pizza oven outside too.
It's open plan inside. There's a washing machine, wifi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair.
You'll need a car. The closest pub is about three miles away in Abbots Bromley. That village has a shop and a few other pubs. For a bigger shop, Uttoxeter is eight miles. They've got supermarkets, a cinema, and a racecourse.
If you're driving out for the day, a lot is within half an hour. Alton Towers and Drayton Manor are that way for theme parks. The Peak District isn't far either, Dovedale is lovely for a walk. For a bit of history, Calke Abbey, Shugborough, and Sudbury Hall are all nearby.
