River View Sanctuary
River View Sanctuary is exactly what it says. It's a converted barn on the edge of Pateley Bridge. You get a clear view down to the river and the hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and modern inside. The main thing is the sauna. It fits two people. We had it put in because we liked the idea of warming up after a cold walk.
The living space is all open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher. The patio is enclosed, so it's private. There's garden furniture and a barbecue. Parking is right outside.
Pateley Bridge is a two minute walk. It's a proper little market town. There are a couple of shops, some cafes, and a few pubs. The North York Moors are close, and you're in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The footpaths start from the door.
Brimham Rocks are about a 15 minute drive. It's a National Trust site with all those strange rock formations. Good for a wander. Harrogate is roughly 30 minutes by car if you want a bigger town, or the Turkish Baths.
Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry. The washing machine is in a utility cupboard by the front door.
