Sophies Barn
Sophies Barn is in Penyfron, near Llandrindod Wells. It's a barn conversion on a working farm, but you've got your own entrance and garden. The view is good, just fields and hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, but they're both on mezzanine floors. One is a double bed up a separate ladder. The other has two singles. The bathroom is downstairs and has a shower. There's a wood burner in the living area.
You're on the edge of the Radnor Forest, good for walking. There's a golf course a few miles away. Horse riding can be arranged locally. Llandrindod Wells is about a ten minute drive. It's got a few shops, a supermarket, and a leisure centre with a pool.
Elan Valley is within half an hour. That's the big reservoir area, very popular for walking and cycling. The Elan Valley Trust site has maps and information. Powis Castle is about 40 minutes away, run by the National Trust.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. No pets allowed.
