This is Hannah's Shepherds Hut. It's one of four huts on the same site, called The Garrison. The site is an old Roman fort, which is quite something. You'll see bits about that around the place, and there's a small visitor centre with a model.
The hut sleeps three. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. It's glamping, so it's a smart hut, not a field with a bucket. It's got a wood burning stove, a patio area, and your own parking spot. WiFi and bedding are included.
You're in Bowness on Solway. It's right on the Solway Coast, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a pub and a tearoom within walking distance.
The site has a shared gym you can use, and a bistro that does good food. If you cycle, you're right on Hadrian's Cycleway. It's also a popular spot for people walking the coast to coast, so you might meet some interesting folk.
Within about half an hour you can get to Carlisle and the castle, the Western Lake District fells, or over the border into southern Scotland. The proper Hadrian's Wall sites are a short drive inland. For a big day out, you can drive into the Lake District National Park in roughly 30 minutes.
One well-behaved dog is allowed.
