Church Cottage
Church Cottage is in Rigg, just outside Gretna Green. It's a ground floor flat in a converted church. You get your own little courtyard at the front.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely, but it's a conversion, so there are some original church windows and a tiled floor in the hall. The shower is a walk-in one.
The whole place is on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. There's parking right outside.
Rigg is quiet. Gretna Green is about a mile away if you want the shops or the Outlet Village. The A75 and the M6 are a few minutes away, so it's easy to get about.
You can be in the Lake District in under an hour. The Scottish Borders and Hadrian's Wall are about the same drive. For local history, the Devil's Porridge Museum in Eastriggs is close by.
The flat has WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. There's no charge for electricity. Sorry, no pets.
