Paxville is a bungalow in Gretna. It's detached, so there's no one attached to the walls. We had it all redone last year, so everything inside is new.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. They're all on the ground floor. There's one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The front has a big lawn and a paved bit with table and chairs. The living room looks out over the garden towards the Solway Coast. You can see the Cumbrian hills in the distance. The kitchen has the same view. It's a modern kitchen with what you'd need.
Gretna Green is close by, famous for weddings. The A75 and the M6 are about five minutes away, which makes getting about easy.
The Solway Coast is right there for beaches and walks. The Devil's Porridge Museum is just along the road, which covers the local wartime history. Caledonia Park outlet shopping is less than a mile away, if that's your thing.
For wider trips, Dumfries and Galloway has castles and fishing. The Lake District is within a 30 minute drive if you fancy the hills.
In terms of facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
