Key to the Esk is a terraced cottage in Longtown. It's on the bank of the River Esk. You can get to the river from the garden gate.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's open plan downstairs.
The garden has a covered hot tub. It's private, and it's got a lot of jets. There's a pergola to sit under as well.
The cottage is right between the Lake District and Northumberland National Park. The Solway Coast is a short drive away. Gretna Green is about three miles if you want to go to the Blacksmiths Shop or the retail outlets.
For history, you're close to Hadrian's Wall and the Scottish Borders. It's easy to pop into Scotland from here.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about fifty yards away. They're handy.
Facilities: it has a wood burner, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage. No pets.
