Low Moat
Low Moat is our cottage on the farm here in Carwinley. It's detached, so it's just you and the fields. It's a working farm, so you'll see tractors and sheep.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. Everything's on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfy. There's a hot tub in the private garden.
Inside it's open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a TV and WiFi. The hall has a little reading corner with a chair. The bedroom is a good size. All the bedding and towels are there.
You're welcome to bring one well-behaved dog. There's an enclosed patio so they can't wander. Please clean up after them.
You're about four miles from Longtown for shops. Gretna Green is eight miles away. The Solway Coast is close, about a twenty minute drive. You can get to the Lake District or Northumberland National Park in under half an hour by car. The local fishing is on the River Lyne.
For walks, you can just go straight out from the door onto the farm tracks and quiet lanes.
