Bogrie Country Cottage
Bogrie Country Cottage is near Milltown in Dumfriesshire. It's a detached cottage on a quiet lane. The views are good, over farmland to the Solway coast and the Cumbrian hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is comfortable and recently done up. The stairs are a fairly standard steep cottage staircase.
It's on a working farm. Rachel, who owns it, is happy to show you around if you're interested. Otherwise you probably won't see much of them. The garden is enclosed. There's a summer house with seating, a BBQ, a pizza oven, and a hot tub.
You're about twenty minutes from the coast. There are good beaches at Sandyhills or Rockcliffe. For a proper walk, the Southern Upland Way is close by. Dumfries is about a twenty-five minute drive. Gretna Green is around half an hour.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a wood burning stove in the sitting room. WiFi is included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
