Bogrie Cottage is ours. It's down a quiet lane near Milltown. You can see the hills and farmland from the garden, and on a clear day you can just make out the Solway coast in the distance. It's detached, so no neighbours attached.
It sleeps four two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, it's clean. The stairs are a bit steep, just so you know.
There's a wood burning stove in the living room. That's nice in the evenings. The kitchen has what you need, dishwasher and washing machine included. The shower room is new, with a walk-in shower. Bedding and towels are there.
Outside, the garden is enclosed. There's a summer house with chairs, good for when it's a bit breezy. There's a BBQ and a pizza oven if you fancy cooking outside. We've also put in a hot tub. It's quite something to sit in it at night when the skies are clear.
We run the farm here. If you're interested, I'm happy to show you around. No pets I'm afraid.
For things to do, you're well placed. The coast is about a twenty minute drive. There's good walking all around here, and the area is known for its dark skies if you like stargazing. You can be at Gretna Green in under half an hour. Dumfries is about the same. If you want to go further, the Lake District in Cumbria is just over the border, maybe forty minutes to an hour depending on where you aim for.
